Schmidt’s Landing is located on beautiful Big Stone Lake on the South Dakota side of the 26.1 mile long lake. The lake is quickly becoming the place to fish walleye and perch. It is also a great recreational lake for families. Our Lakeside Suites and camping spots are perfect for any family getaways or a fantastic place to host your next family reunion. Schmidt’s Landing has so many extras including boat and pontoon rentals, complimentary kayak and pedal boats, a swimming beach, many docks you can fish off of, and a beach volleyball court.
We have decided that in order to keep everything as clean as we can, we have provided the sheets on the beds but we are asking our guests to bring blankets, pillows, and bath towels. If you forget them we do have some available clean and ready.
Pets are not allowed in our two-bedroom suites but if you are camping with us they are allowed in the campground. If camping, please keep your pet on a leash at all times and pick up after them.
